We offer you solutions for the circular economy. Do you want more sustainability in your products? Would you like to reduce your carbon footprint? We supply you with the appropriate raw materials: Biodegradable materials, bio-based and recyclable plastics as well as recyclates and bio-hybrids (recyclate with bio-based plastics) are part of our extensive portfolio. Should you ever not find a bioplastic with the properties you want, we will develop it for you individually. Depending on your application, the end of life and the existing disposal structure, we will work with you to select a bio-based, biodegradable or a bio-based plastic with recycled content. And even with marketing, we support you so that you can position your products in the best possible way.
Versatile bioplastics for extrusion and injection molding. Areas of application are foils, agricultural foils, compostable bags and bags. Properties similar to PP and partly ABS can be achieved for injection molded articles.
Industrial or home compostable plastics for the production of blown films. These rapidly degradable starch compounds are ideal for shirt carrier bags.
Fiber-reinforced plastics for injection molding and extrusion. Fibrolon® combines the convenience and design freedom of plastics with the natural wood look and feel.
Eastlon is a partially bio-based PET and a 'drop-in' solution. It can replace traditional PET in many applications such as bottles and trays. It can also be integrated into existing PET recycling streams.
Bio-based EVA (BCC approx. 70%) from Braskem. Suitable for injection molding and extrusion, but also for the production of foams.
Polyethylene (LLDPE, LDPE, HDPE) from renewable raw materials. Completely recyclable. For extrusion, injection molding, blow molding.
High quality bio-based polyethylene compounds for extrusion and injection molding. Bio-hybrid compounds (recycled materials + bio-based plastics) for technical applications, partly to replace PP.
TPE compounds based on renewable raw materials. Various extrusion and injection molding types are available with Shore hardnesses from A 40 to D 40. Products made from Terraprene® offer a special “touch and feel” experience.
PVOH compounds for water-soluble products. Terrasol® dissolves in water and breaks down completely. It is suitable for the production of mono- and co-extruded films, sheets, fibers, tubes and profiles.
Terralene® rPP are bioplastic recyclate compounds that contain either post-consumer or post-industrial PP recyclates and are combined with a renewable raw material. Terralene® rPP is ideal for the production of technical parts without food contact.

FKuR stands for "Research Institute for Plastics and Recycling" because the company was founded in 1992 as such. Then as now, recycling and the circular economy with plastics are the focus of our activities. After developing and marketing the first bioplastic compounds, FKuR Kunststoff GmbH was founded in 2003 with a focus on bioplastics. Nature is our role model and plastics are our passion. Everything that nature produces is needed, used and exploited. There is no waste.
